In-person events are the bread and butter of Intertech activity. By bringing like-minded people together in the same space, we encourage and promote the growth of a healthy community within the tech sector and support and develop Diversity, Equity and Inclusion initiatives for all our partner organisations.

Why Work With Intertech LGBT+?
Intertech is a volunteer-led community network of LGBTQ+ professionals who work in the tech sector. It consists of a wide variety of professions spanning tech specialists and non-tech specialists working in the industry.
Your support keeps us going. As a volunteer-led group, we want to keep the the rhythm of our events and the spirit of the community alive. When you support us either through sponsorship or through an event, you are directly contributing to the LGBT+ community.

What Kind of Events Does Intertech Run?
Having been in this space for over 10 years, we have whittled down all the possible event 2 main types of events.
The Intertech team will help you with crafting the event, support with speakers and marketing the event to our membership. Having run hundreds of events in the past, we will be able to support you at every stage of the process to make sure that your events run successfully!
Tech Talks
Tech talks are as the name suggests, talks by your tech team. These can be around your tech or emerging tech in the Industry (think GenerativeAI, Blockchain, VR etc). These are a real crowd pleaser as our members join Intertech to keep on top of the latest tech trends and to learn about what specific innovations are happening in the tech space.
Panel Discussions
Panel discussions are a great format to explore an emerging industry trend, breakout technology or celebrate a day in the LGBTQ+ calendar. We tend to have 3/4 panelists with a moderator to keep the flow of the discussion.
